OLGA SOBCHUK 1920 - 1999 Olga Sobchuk passed away on Friday, December 3, 1999 at the Riverview Hospital. She was 79, and was born in Winnipeg. Sh had a short battle with cancer. Olga grew up in the Brooklands region of Winnipeg, and remained there until her death. Olga was a member of the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Churh for over 60 years, and was one of the original members of the Ukrainian Catholic Womens League. In her early years she played an active part with her passed husband, Julius, in the operation of North West Motors and Laurentia Lodge. She enjoyed fishing and entertaining in those years, with Julius and the many friends they had. Olga loved gardening and shared the produce with her friends and neighbours.
